Great place for a photo opportunity of delicious drinks and yummy food! Ambiance is great ! Several tvs at the bar, low lighting, and lots of greenery around you. We ordered many items and my favorite was the trio enchiladas that included shrimp, crab, and Lobster! Anything you order will be delicious! And don't forget to tip the servers! They are very attentive and friendly!

This is a delicious, slightly more upscale Mexican restaurant. I enjoy coming here mainly for the ambiance and atmosphere--it's a gorgeous spot to share with good company. Their food is quite good, too. It's on the pricier side, but I've tried many dishes, and my go-to is always the steak fajitas. The fajitas themselves are some of the best I've ever had, served with a side of beans, rice, and fresh tortillas. It's a fantastic choice if you're looking for a satisfying meal. The margaritas here are a little stronger than usual, which I don't mind considering their price! My favorite is the Guayava Margarita--it has the perfect balance of sweet and tart flavors. This place is also great for a casual lunch; I sometimes stop by during the week for a margarita, chips with guacamole, and a salad. It's always an enjoyable experience!

What a fun experience! I was at the Irvine Spectrum and after an afternoon of walking, I wanted to find a place to eat. I decided to walk into Javier's to give it a try. I am so glad I did! One of the first things I noticed about this place was the atmosphere. I loved the Latin music that was playing right when I walked in. I was walked to the table by the host and was transported to what seemed like an entirely different place. There were trees and fires that lined the area. I loved that the server immediately brought out chips and salsa. I love chips and salsa! I ordered the shrimp chopped salad and enchilada, chile relleno, and taco. I also had the blended strawberry margarita and Javier's magarita. The food was delicious and flavorful. I enjoy blended strawberry margaritas in general, but I also wanted to try Javier's margarita. It had a little bit of a spicy kick to it which was different and unique. The service was great and I did not feel rushed to leave after I had finished eating. I really appreciate that because that allowed me to enjoy the dining experience even more. I would definitely come back here again!

The atmosphere and vibes of this place was like going to the club (they even have a guy in the bathroom to hand you a paper towel ). It's a lot of fun, and high energy, decor is top-notch and impressive. Service for our food was also great. Our server was friendly, tentative and had great recommendations. Food was very good as well, the ingredients used were high quality. Our personal preference is Mexican food can only get so good, but it's a great higher end restaurant for a good date night for Mexican cuisine.

Went to a Christmas party and we were a party of 14. We were seated in a semi private room toward the side of restaurant. The wait staff was amazing and did not skip a beat. Drinks, Appetizers and main course came out quickly and without error. This was my first time at the Spectrum so I parked in a paid lot across from restaurant. There is free parking behind on the other side of restaurants.

Excellent place for a business dinner or upscale date. Javier's boasts great quality food, a wonderfully central location in the Irvine Spectrum mall, and easy reservations through OpenTable, all of which made it a great choice for a recent business dinner. The chips served as you wait are addictive, and the guacamole is even moreso. It's perfectly savory and chunky, pairing wonderfully with the crispy chips. I got carne y camarones as my main dish, and it was a surprisingly Americanized version of the typical Mexican fare I was expecting, though delicious nonetheless. The shrimp was smothered in a savory cream sauce, and the rice was just white rice. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked medium rare wand was my favorite part of the meal by far. One small hiccup is that two steaks in our group were cooked medium well rather than medium rare, but they sent them back and immediately got to work on new ones, which was appreciated. Overall the premium price is worth the service and high quality food!

My party of 5 spontaneously decided to dine here on a Tuesday evening. We walked in without a reservation, but were lucky enough to immediately grab a table. [Ambiance] Gorgeous! The tropical vibes, dim lighting, and abundance of plants scattered throughout made me feel like I was on vacation. Our server promptly took our drink order - margaritas all around. It arrived in about 10 minutes and my Tamarindo margarita (recommended by our waiter) was both delicious and strong! I enjoyed the following food items: * Complimentary chips and salsa - fresh and delish! * Guacamole- smooth and flavorful, no spice but still a solid choice. * Ceviche - just okay. It could've used more seasoning and spice. * Enchiladas Suiza - 2 nice-sized chicken enchiladas smothered in tomatillo sauce and drizzled with sour cream. Yummm Overall: 4.5 stars! We had a great time and the service was excellent. While walking around Irvine Spectrum, Javier's stood out as the busiest spot -- and now I can see why.
